Marketing Graphic Design Intern Summy 2027

POSITION TITLE 
Marketing – Graphic Design Intern


POSITION OVERVIEW
This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting real business priorities within the Marketing Creative Services Team. The intern will contribute to meaningful projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop skills aligned to professional growth and business impact. This role is designed to provide practical experience in a fast-paced environment while building foundational capabilities in problem solving, communication, and teamwork.

This internship is a full-time (40 hours/week), paid position that is 11–12 weeks in length during the summer of 2027, located at our Spartanburg, SC location.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support day-to-day activities and key projects within Creative Services
  • Produce impactful graphics for sales collateral, digital, and print content that help drive growth through product, industry, and market focused initiatives
  • Assist in developing reports, presentations, or process documentation
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders across the organization
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement or efficiency gains
  • Present project findings, recommendations, or results

 

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED

  • Candidates with or working toward a BS in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related design field
  • Competency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly in Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills

 

QUALIFICATIONS – PREFERRED

  • Exposure to brand guidelines, digital asset management, or video editing
  • Strong user of Microsoft Office suite of products, particularly in PowerPoint
  • Prior internship, project, or relevant experience
