Digital Literacy Intern

POSITION OVERVIEW

This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting real business priorities within the Digital Literacy team in Information Technology. The intern will contribute to a digital learning and technology enablement project focused on building scalable micro-learning experiences for Milliken associates. The intern will help convert common workplace technology questions into short, practical learning assets; organize those assets in the E3 Learning Hub for easy discovery; and support process improvements that make the E3 program easier to maintain, measure, and scale.

 

This internship is a full-time (40 hours/week), paid position that is 11–12 weeks in length during the summer of 2027, located at our Spartanburg, SC location.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

· Support day-to-day activities and key projects within IT – Digital Literacy

· Identify common workplace technology questions

· Conduct research, analysis, or data review to answer those questions

· Create micro-learning content including videos and infographics

· Optimize discovery of micro-learning resources

· Collaborate with team members and stakeholders across the organization

· Identify opportunities for process improvement or efficiency gains

· Present project findings, recommendations, or results

 

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED

· Candidates with or working toward a BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field

· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools such as Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

· Comfortable learning new technologies and translating technical concepts into clear, practical guidance for end users

· Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills

 

QUALIFICATIONS – PREFERRED

· Exposure to a wide range of technologies such as programming, web development, data analytics, reporting, or automation tools

· Demonstrated ability to succeed in fast-paced, team-oriented, self-motivated environments

· Experience with Copilot or other AI-powered tools

· Experience with Power BI or other data analytics tools

· Experience developing content that explains a process, tool, or concept

· Demonstrated reliability and adaptability through work, academic, athletic, or extracurricular experience
