Logistics Intern 

POSITION OVERVIEW 

This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting real business priorities within Logistics. The intern will contribute to meaningful projects related to transportation, distribution, inventory movement, data analysis, reporting, and process improvement. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams and develop skills aligned to professional growth and business impact. This role is designed to provide practical experience in a fast-paced environment while building foundational capabilities in problem solving, communication, analysis, and teamwork. 

This internship is a full-time (40 hours/week), paid position that is 11–12 weeks in length during the summer of 2027, located at our Spartanburg, SC location. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

Support day-to-day activities and key projects within Logistics. 

Conduct research, analysis, or data review related to transportation, distribution, inventory movement, service levels, costs, or operational performance. 

Assist in developing reports, presentations, dashboards, process documentation, or standard work to support business decisions. 

Collaborate with Logistics, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Procurement, and other cross-functional stakeholders. 

Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, cost reduction, or improved visibility across logistics operations. 

Support tracking and analysis of key logistics metrics, which may include on-time delivery, freight spend, inventory flow, carrier performance, distribution execution, or service performance. 

Present project findings, recommendations, or results to business stakeholders. 

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED 

Candidates with or working toward a BS in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, Analytics, or a related field. 

Strong user of Microsoft Office suite of products, with advanced Excel skills. 

Detail oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills. 

QUALIFICATIONS – PREFERRED 

Exposure to logistics, transportation, distribution, inventory management, ERP systems, SAP, data analysis, Power BI, process mapping, or supply chain planning tools. 

Prior internship, project, or relevant experience
